Cloud formations in the fall of the year in and around the Sacramento Valley Delta are very dramatic and active. This painting "Delta Sky" was experienced one afternoon in 1994. It is in water color and acrylic. 28X32 inches.
A good contrast to the cloudy sky is the "Open Sky" that I saw one day over Folsom Lake, near Sacramento. Far in the distance is silhouetted the Sierra Nevada mountains. The work is in watercolor, analyn dye and ink and is 28X36 inches.
